CRN has worked closely with the Department of Housing since the Department’s founding in 1980. In 1994, the city responded to CRN’s Affordable Housing and Community Jobs Campaign with a 5 year commitment to carefully targeted housing production goals. Since then, CRN has monitored the city’s quarterly reports on its progress to meet these goals. CRN was also active in the planning process that led up to the city’s adoption of it’s second 5 Year Plan, which raised the city’s commitment to $1.3 billion over 5 years.
