A multi-year advertising effort to promote community acceptance, and encourage community residents and policy makers to support solutions to the affordable housing crisis.
Housing Illinois sponsored a public opinion research survey to identify currents of opinion about affordable housing in the region and identify arguments likely to be effective for addressing different segments of the population. Summary conclusions of this study can be seen at the Housing Illinois web-site.
The findings from this public opinion research are being used to create radio, television and print adds to provide accurate images of affordable housing, raise awareness about the benefits of affordable housing and encourage community involvement. These ads will be made available to organizations throughout the region for use in local neighborhoods.
